About us
Hi! How nice of you to take a look! You probably just clicked on the question "Who are the people who pack your parcels and answer all your questions?"
Well... 'we' are mostly just me/Ellen/me/myself... Fortunately, I also have a wonderful and loving husband who now knows quite a lot about all cookie products and can help out where needed. In addition, there is a great team ready to help at baking fairs. So for part of the year, it's a cozy 'we' after all! :)
Why this webshop?
I started decorating cookies in 2012. I had been reading some American cookie blogs for a while then. When I ended up at home with a bruised back, I suddenly had all the time to start working on it myself, under the guise of 'rehabilitation'. Over the years, I increasingly encountered the problem that there was no (web)shop in the Netherlands where you could buy everything related to cookies. The cake shops had some items, but the boxes/bags/sprinkles/cutters were still somewhat limited. To solve this problem for everyone right away, I started this webshop. It was super scary, but at the same time very cool to be the first cookie shop in NL where you could really get everything! In recent years, the shop has, of course, expanded considerably. In case you'd like to know more about me:
- I can be extremely chaotic, which is why there are ToDo lists scattered throughout the house.
- Indoors, I prefer to walk in my socks (sometimes even at the office, shhh!).
- In the hallway of our house, there is a large bookcase full of Donald Duck Pockets.
