Preparation method for pastry cream
- 200 grams Bake Delicious Pastry Cream mix
- 350 grams water
Place the mix and water in a bowl and whisk with a mixer and whisk attachment for approximately 4 minutes until a light, smooth mixture forms. Then let the cream rest for 8 minutes so it can stiffen and achieve the right texture. After that, mix for another 4 minutes on high speed for a smooth, creamy pastry cream.
Cream au beurre variant
Would you like an extra rich cream, for example, to fill cakes? Then easily make a crème au beurre. Prepare the recipe above and add 250 grams of soft butter. Beat this with a paddle attachment for 6 minutes until a light, smooth cream that is perfect for fillings.
