De Icing Genie is het maatje van de Stencil Genie: een siliconen schraper met een gladde squeegee-rand waarmee je royal icing strak over je stencil trekt. Door het brede model ligt hij goed in je hand en verdeel je de icing in een rustige haal gelijkmatig over je koekje.

Zo werkt het: stencil vastzetten, een dotje icing erop en met de Icing Genie er in een beweging overheen schrapen. Stencil recht optillen en klaar. De schraper is van voedselveilige siliconen en mag na het decoreren gewoon in de vaatwasser, dat scheelt weer afwas. Patronen om mee aan de slag te gaan vind je in onze stencils collectie.

Hoe schraap je royal icing strak over een stencil?

Stencilen werkt het mooist op een basislaag royal icing die helemaal is uitgehard, met daaroverheen icing in een contrasterende kleur.

  • Zet je stencil vast (bijvoorbeeld met de Stencil Genie) zodat hij niet verschuift.
  • Leg een dotje dikkere royal icing op de rand van het stencil en trek de Icing Genie er in een rustige haal overheen.
  • Til het stencil recht omhoog op, dan blijven de lijntjes strak.
  • Schoonmaken is simpel: afspoelen of gewoon in de vaatwasser.
