Een sneeuwbol die je gewoon kunt opeten: met deze Snowglobe siliconen mal van Karen Davies maak je hem zelf. In de mal zit de sneeuwbol zelf plus alle decoraties die erin horen: een sneeuwpop, gingerbread mannetjes, een gingerbread huisje, boompjes en een hertje. Druk er fondant of modelleerpasta in en je hebt in een paar minuten een compleet wintertafereel voor op je koekjes of je kersttaart.

De mal is flexibel, plakt niet en wordt met de hand gemaakt in de UK. Je kunt er veel meer in kwijt dan alleen fondant: ook chocolade, marsepein, flower paste, gekookte suiker en zelfs luchtdrogende klei of zoutdeeg voor niet-eetbare projecten. Hoe maak je een sneeuwbol van fondant met deze mal?

Druk je fondant of modelleerpasta stevig in de mal en strijk de achterkant vlak, dan krijg je alle details mooi mee.

  • Buig de flexibele mal voorzichtig om, zo komt de sneeuwbol er zonder scheurtjes uit.
  • Werk je met chocolade? Laat de mal even opstijven in de koelkast voordat je hem lost.
  • Plak de sneeuwbol met een dotje royal icing op je koekje en zet de figuurtjes erin, zo bouw je je eigen wintertafereel.
