Een kerstboom mag niet ontbreken op je kerstplateau, en met deze stencil van The Cookie Countess zet je hem in een paar tellen strak op je koekje. Schraap er groene royal icing overheen voor een klassieke boom, of houd hem juist wit voor een besneeuwd exemplaar op een donkere ondergrond.

Het leukste komt daarna: de boom optuigen. Spuit er met een dun spuitmondje gekleurde stipjes op als kerstballen, of strooi wat mini-sprinkles in de nog natte icing als slinger. Zo wordt elke boom in je koekjesdoos net even anders. De stencil is ca. 14 x 14 cm, past in standaard stencilhouders en is afwasbaar en herbruikbaar. Hoe stencil je een kerstboom op een koekje?

Leg de stencil op je goed gedroogde royal icing en schraap er groene icing overheen. Til hem recht omhoog, laat drogen en tuig de boom daarna op.

Zo gebruik je de stencil:

  1. Voorzie je koekje van een egale laag royal icing en laat die minimaal een nacht uitharden.
  2. Leg de stencil plat op het koekje, het liefst in een stencilhouder.
  3. Breng een dun laagje icing aan met een spatel.
  4. Schraap het overtollige icing in een vloeiende beweging weg.
  5. Til de stencil recht omhoog voor een strak resultaat.
  • Optuigen: spuit gekleurde stipjes als kerstballen zodra de boom droog is, of strooi mini-sprinkles in de nog natte icing.
  • Een stuggere icing houdt de rand van de boom strak.
  • Schoonmaken: spoel de stencil af onder lauwwarm water zonder zeep en dep hem droog met een zachte doek. Niet wrijven.
